Astrologers who have signed up for our platform are not permitted to obtain or use customers' phone numbers for any purpose other than the app. The app serves as the primary means of communication between astrologers and buyers.
2. Consequences of Breach
If an analyst is caught breaking this rule by getting or using a customer's phone number outside of the app, the following will happen:
• Immediate Suspension: The astrologer's account will be shut down immediately while a review is conducted.
• Termination: If the investigation determines that a breach occurred, the astrologer's account will be permanently closed, and they will also be subject to a fine.
• Legal Action: Due to certain parts of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the company may take legal action against the astrologer.
3. Legal Implications
If you obtain or use a customer's contact information without their permission, you may be violating privacy rules and could be charged under the relevant sections of the IPC. For example:
- Section 66A of the Information Technology Act, 2000: Relating to sending offensive messages through communication service, etc.
- Section 72 of the Information Technology Act, 2000: Breach of confidentiality and privacy.
- Section 318 of the BNS: Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property.
- Section 356 of the BNS: Defamation.
4. Agreement to Terms
Astrologers agree to follow these rules when they sign up for and use our site. If you break these rules, you will face severe penalties, such as legal action.
